Taking as reference the International Code of Cork Stopper (CIPR) - SYSTECODE Certification of CELiège by Bureau Veritas - we have invested in R&D projects that have allowed us to exceed the requirements of this standard, developing techniques and differentiating and innovative processes that enable us to provide a range of products of excellence, for many different solutions.

On the other hand, contrary to the industrial mass production trends that have invaded the cork sector the last decades, ALL stoppers provided by Z-Cork are selected manually one by one.

Apart from the obvious social responsibility and community present here, we believe that the huge financial strain makes this manual choice, is compensated by the homogeneity of the cork quality provided, reflecting the elimination of defective stoppers that go unnoticed to the high resolution electronic machines.
